Rural Solutions SA is a multi-faceted consultancy business combining economic, environmental and social dimensions.
The business has a 100-year heritage of delivering regional services and solutions from its origins as part of the South Australian Department of Agriculture. Since its launch in 1998, Rural Solutions SA has undergone a transformation into a consultancy business with a mix of expertise in a wide range of disciplines,associated with the environment and natural resources management as well as regional, community and industry development.
Our expansion and growth mean we are now providing services in an extensive range of new market areas where we have gained expertise and a reputation for quality services, delivered on-time and to specification. We operate in urban as well as rural environments. We provide services throughout South Australia, Australia and the World.

Our reputation for responding to the needs of our customers has enabled us to undertake projects nationally and internationally in countries as diverse as Japan, Iraq and Eritrea.
As a government-owned business, we are also the ‘front door’ to a range of services that are available to help improve the rural economy, environment and communities. We provide extensive services on behalf of Primary Industries and Resources SA (PIRSA) and the Department of Water, Land and Biodiversity Conservation (DWLBC).
From approximately 24 locations across South Australia, and through contractors and alliance partners elsewhere, we work with natural resources management bodies, agricultural industry development organisations, food, wine, forestry, mineral resources companies, local government, regional bodies, primary producers and community groups.
