Journal Club 2012
The 2012 Rural Solutions SA Journal Club is a lunchtime presentation held on the first Tuesday of every month. A diverse range of invited speakers will present topics that will inform, educate and challenge public and private sector professionals in the Primary Industries and Natural Resources sectors.

TITLE: “Challenges and opportunities of the Clean Energy Future package for SA and Local Government”
In September 2011 the Federal Parliament passed the Clean Energy Futures legislative package which introduces the carbon price and substantial household, industry, renewable energy, innovation, land sector and energy efficiency measures contained in the Clean Energy Future Plan. This presentation aims to outline the likely impacts of the carbon price for State Government and Local Government as well as the various opportunities within the Clean Energy Futures package.
Lunch will be provided as part of the presentation.
